The Royal Family has faced a tumultuous few years, marked by bitter disputes, public scandals, and courageous battles with cancer. Now, the supposed current state of Princess Kate’s relationship with her brother-in-law Prince Harry has been disclosed.

After a challenging few years, the Prince and Princess of Wales embarked on a new chapter in November by moving into their “forever home” – Forest Lodge, a £16 million mansion nestled within the expansive grounds of Great Windsor Park.

Their new residence is situated right next to the former abode of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who left Frogmore Cottage nearly six years ago. It’s also where the Royal Lodge is located – the previous home of William’s uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Despite ongoing tensions between Prince William and Harry, who remain out of contact, there are no indications of a reconciliation between Harry and his brother or sister-in-law – and Royal expert Duncan Larcombe believes their lack of public acknowledgement of the Duke’s 41st birthday in September was a clear sign they’re still stinging from his past actions.

“Kate’s silence spoke a thousand words,” Duncan exclusively told OK! “They didn’t post anything on his birthday, which the royals normally would do. So Kate’s message was loud and clear: the ball’s not in our court, Harry – it’s in yours.”

Duncan said that due to strict Royal protocol, the couple can only communicate their feelings through subtle signals. In this instance, it seems their silence did the talking.

“Neither Kate, nor William, can speak out publicly about Harry and Meghan. They have kept silent throughout all of this and rolled with all the punches, so they’re forced into subtle, secret messaging – which is what this seems to be. They’re not prepared to call Harry’s bluff by sending him joyful birthday wishes, so they remain silent and avoid him at all costs.”

Kate has kept her attention firmly on raising her family, a friend has disclosed.

While Harry may have begun to mend fences with his father King Charles, relations with the Princess of Wales still seem chilly. A source close to William and Kate has now revealed how this strained relationship has led her to concentrate on her children, reports the Mirror.

They told The Times: “After repeatedly taking aim at his brother and sister-in-law, it’s hardly surprising that William and Kate would rather focus on raising their own family.

“There was a sense of weary inevitability in William’s camp when Harry decided to announce a trip to Canada for ‘remembrancetide’ at the start of his brother’s official visit to Brazil.

“If Kate has learnt anything from her cancer ordeal and the teachings of Robert Waldinger, however, she’ll know that life’s far too short to get hung up on Harry.”

Kate has been gradually involving Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in official events, preparing them for their future global roles. Royal expert and author Katie Nicholl told OK!: “I think for Kate and William, the greatest challenge is going to be navigating their role as hands-on parents, and making sure they set the tone for the future of the monarchy.

“That’s going to be very much part of the bigger picture when they are king and queen. They’ll be thinking ahead for future generations, so [the monarchy] doesn’t end with King William V, but continues with King George.”
