Prince William didn’t accept a certain board game that a well-wisher attempted to gift him.
“We are not allowed to play Monopoly at home. It gets too vicious,” William said, according to The Telegraph.

On Reddit, royal family fans found the moment to be hilarious.
“They probably own half the board,” one user wrote. “They could play Monopoly IRL.”

“Just imagining Harry and William secretly playing a smuggled-in Monopoly set in a dark corner of Buckingham Palace,” another person wrote.
“If the royal family is anything like mine, there’d be a fist fight,” a fourth added.

Despite the tension Monopoly causes amongst the royals, Prince William raved over the game during a media appearance.
“We love Monopoly, that’s good, and Risk. Have you played Risk before? That’s a good game, goes on for hours and usually everyone gets very cross because they lose. But that’s what I like playing,” William told The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust’s radio station.
