Cue ball head an officer but not a gentleman Kelly recently listed all his accomplishments as a naval officer and wound up making the case THAT HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER. As an Enlisted Naval Petty Officer even I after 40 years of An Honorable Discharge know that an Oath is forever. You salute and respect the rank and the authority that comes with it. The President is the Cinc: Commander in Chief.
Kelly should be reduced in rank to no higher than lieutenant commander but much lower if so adjudicated, he should also be Court Martialed for seditious comments that would break the chain of command. His political stance seems more important to him than good order and discipline of the Navy. The nation and the Navy afforded him all of his accomplishments, he came empty into the navy and empty he shall leave.
