It was an excellent Sunday for Dhurandhar as an excellent Rs. 6.85 crores came in. The film has seen the best collections for any Hindi film in this day, be it any new or holdover release, and that goes on to show the kind of supremacy that it has been enjoying even in its sixth week now. There are multiple biggies from Bollywood, Hollywood and south that have come in the interim period and still barring Friday and Saturday gone by, when The Raja Saab went one up, it is Dhurandhar, which has led from the front on every day.

There was this outside chance that the film had to enjoy one last hurrah of a Rs. 10 crores score on Sunday, though that was anyways asking too much since it has already been in theatres for 37 days. Still, there have been so many miracles that the Aditya Dhar film has scored ever since its release that one just waited to see if one more would end up taking place on Sunday. That didn’t happen though.
The idea would be to play in that Rs. 2 crores range every day right till the end of week now as that would add around Rs. 8 crores more to its aggregate of Rs. 857.40 crores, which has been gathered so far. That would ensure that by the time the film is through with its seventh weekend, the huge and never-seen-before milestone of Rs. 875 crores would have been crossed. The Rs. 900 Crores Club is out of reach but still, Dhurandhar won’t give up without a fight.
