Ex-Prince Andrew has been stripped of his titles and asked to vacate his Royal Lodge. Moreover, he was not a part of the Royal family Christmas get-together. Despite this, the former prince is making sure to get the inside details by using both of his daughters as “royal spies,” feels an expert.
Ex-Prince Andrew has been asked to vacate his 30-bedroom mansion in Windsor after being stripped of his title. He was also not part of the Royal Christmas at Sandringham. However, he is trying his best to know what is going on behind the closed doors. And for this, a royal expert believes, he is using his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, as “Royal spies.”
Despite him not attending the Christmas get-together with the royal family, both his daughters were seen at the family event, much to host Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson’s surprise, as per The Sun.
He believed that the daughters “were going to stay away from Royal Lodge, they were going to stay away from Sandringham to avoid being seen like they’re taking sides.” However, “they were standing on the steps outside of the church, smiling, happy with the King.”
But royal biographer Ingrid Seward told the host at The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show that she doesn’t think the girls “had a choice. Andrew said to them, you have to go.” “Because he wants to keep a foot in. A, he wants to know what’s going on. B, he’d want to know what people were saying about him,” she said, adding that “they are Andrew’s only passport into the royal family now.”
Moreover, the expert believed that she was “absolutely sure that he persuaded them.” “And they might have said, ‘oh, Papa, we want to be with you’. And he’d said, ‘no, I want you to go there. That’s what’s going to make me happy.’”
