As Dr. Frank Langdon (Patrick Ball) made his grand return to the ER following a sabbatical to address his substance abuse problem, fans of the medical drama—which also stars Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa—noted that there were inconsistencies in when he was sporting a wedding band. Indeed, while Langdon wore his ring once he was scrubbed up, fans noticed that he was not wearing it as he made his way into the locker rooms at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. That voice is like nails on a chalkboard
Might be different based in different regions but we have to be bare below the elbow so I wear my ring around my neck. I have a colleague who has a tattoo band. Other districts I’ve been allowed a plain band but I still went with the necklace for proper hand hygiene
Later in the episode he has a gold band on his ring finger
They are also WAYYYYY overdoing the neurodivergent aspect of Dr. King. It's so forced. This season already sucks.
If it's a "continuity error" i would blame the actor more than the wardrove, as I would imagine he should mention it to them, if they failed to remeber to give him a wedding band.
There might be even more hints than the ring. In Season 2, Robby deliberately separates Langdon from Mel.

The big error is that there is a helmet law in PA for motorcycles and Robbie isn’t wearing one. Later Langdon asks a man who fell off a bicycle if he was wearing a helmet and tells him he should always wear one. Foreshadowing?
I'm betting hint. They're VERY detail- oriented.
The narration is so sing-songy and childlike that I had to turn this off right away.
