Gordon Ramsay’s latest tribute to his daughter Holly’s new husband Adam Peaty has sparked claims from fans it will ‘break his parents’ hearts.’
The chef walked his daughter down the aisle as she tied the knot with Adam Peaty in a lavish ceremony at Bath Abbey on December 27.
However, the wedding has been overshadowed by an ugly family dispute that led to Adam’s own mother being barred from the service, with his sister Bethany the only loved one from his side to attend the day.
Among a string of tributes to his new son-in-law, Gordon left a comment to Adam and his new wife Holly under a post shared by the Olympian.
The post included snaps from the couple’s pre-wedding celebrations, with Holly revealing her siblings even gave a speech ahead of the big day.
Under the post, Gordon commented: ‘Beautiful ❤️ love you both Dad @hollyramsaypeaty @adamramsaypeaty.’

But some fans were quick to note that Gordon’s use of the word Dad was directed to both Adam and Holly, and claimed this was a dig at his estranged parents.
They said: ‘You can’t help yourself, can you? You have to keep making it upsetting for Adam’s parents. You made the wedding day a circus and you are determined to to make his family suffer shame on you;
‘Gordon you need think if it was your son getting married and not inviting you and your wife, how would you feel about it, your new son in law needs to stop putting all these things on as it’s not very nice for his mother and father to see they must be heartbroken, he should be ashamed of himself.’
The Sun reported that in his father of the bride speech Gordon commented on how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a ‘lucky man’, adding: ‘Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.’
The publication went on to claim that Gordon couldn’t resist a sly dig at Adam’s absent parents he told his daughter Holly: ‘Shame you don’t have the same.’
It was later revealed that swimmer Adam’s estranged mother had been left ‘outraged’ and ‘hurt’ that Gordon referred to their bitter family feud in his speech.
A family source told the Daily Mail she was left horrified by the moment in the speech and believed the celebrity chef had ‘pre planned’ the cruel swipe against her, calling it ‘cruel’ and ‘very hurtful’.
Gordon doubled down on his speech as he appeared on This Morning last week, insisting that what he had to say at the wedding reception was ‘perfect and warm’.

But some fans were quick to note that Gordon’s use of the word Dad was directed to both Adam and Holly, and claimed this was a dig at his estranged parents
He said: ‘It’s tough, honestly. Being the dad with three daughters, you dream of that moment and that moment arrives and you’re just like a hot mess.
‘But, the speech was perfect, it went well and you’ve got to find that… You’ve got to be warm, emotional… It’s a tough gig.’
Daughter Tilly admitted that she had listened to the speech ahead of the big day, chiming in: ‘I think it was Christmas Eve, I was sat in his room for an hour as he was just reading through it.
‘Going through everything but no tweaks were needed, it was perfect. It made everybody cry.’
Last week, bride Holly defended her father’s speech despite Caroline’s outrage, saying she felt ‘overwhelmed with happiness’ during it.
In an interview with British Vogue, Holly shared a photo of herself and Adam smiling and laughing during Gordon’s speech.
‘Listening to dad’s speech, looking around the room and feeling overwhelmed with the love and the happiness on our guests’ faces,’ she said.
In another jibe at the estranged Peaty family, Holly revealed that her parents paid for her and Adam’s luxurious Honeymoon to Mauritius, saying it was their ‘wedding present’.
She added: ‘We’re going to Mauritius to just lie by the sea – that was our wedding present from my parents. I had to tell Adam we weren’t basing our honeymoon around a 25-metre pool…’
Holly shared numerous snaps of the wedding with the fashion publication, including a rather awkward one of Holly and Adam posing with her parents and David and Victoria Beckham.
With Adam’s parents not in attendance at the wedding, they stood alongside the groom in the photo with Gordon and Tana alongside Holly.
Adam is thought to have not mentioned his family or parents in his speech, instead praising his swim coach Mel Marshall for being his ‘everything’, and for ‘grounding and inspiring’ him.
Holly divulged several details about the wedding, revealing she and Adam had their first dance to George Michael’s A Different Corner, saying they had the song picked when they first began dating.
She also described her father-daughter dance with Gordon as ‘so special’.
Sitting at home more than 130 miles away in Staffordshire, Adam’s broken–hearted mother Caroline was said to be ‘beside herself’ with grief at missing what should have been one of the happiest days of her life.
Speaking from the council house where Adam grew up, the 59–year–old told The Mail on Sunday: ‘I’m not going to be hurt like this again’.
She had told Daily Mail that she felt as if Holly and Adam ‘have cut my heart out’.
It was also revealed that moments before he walked into the abbey clutching the hand of his five–year–old son George, Adam was sent a devastating text message by his aunt Louise, who was also not invited to the wedding.
During his father-of-the-bride speech, Gordon appeared to make a dig at the absence of Adam’s family (the swimmer is pictured after marrying Holly)
In it, she wrote: ‘I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.
‘Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.’
The roots of the family conflict go back to September 2024, when Adam and Holly snubbed wider members of the Peaty family by not inviting them to their engagement party.
Caroline, who spent years ferrying her son to early–morning training sessions, was also not invited to Holly’s glamorous hen do at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds, even though the bride’s mother, Tana Ramsay, and friends including Victoria Beckham, were at the extravagant bash.
