Amazon MGM Studios on Wednesday dropped the trailer for The Bluff, the pirate action-adventure movie pitting Priyanka Chopra Jonas against The Boys star Karl Urban in a pic produced by the Russo brothers. It will hit the high seas of Amazon’s Prime video on February 25.
Chopra Jonas plays Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, who thought she had escaped her violent past as a pirate, living with her family in the Cayman Islands. But when her former captain, Connor (Urban), arrives seeking revenge, Ercell’s world is torn apart.

In the trailer, both stars are game for some serious scrapping, as Bloody Mary relies on her past skills with knives and swords, clever traps and her fierce will to defend her new life, her son (Vedanten Naidoo), husband (Ismael Cruz Cordova) and sister-in-law (Safia Oakley-Green). That includes Chopra Jonas bashing the skulls of Conner’s murderous crew (“Look away,” she tells her son at one point).
Bob Marley: One Love writer Frank E. Flowers directs off a script he co-wrote with Joe Ballarini. AGBO’s Joe and Anthony Russo and Angela Russo-Otstot are producers with Michael Disco, Cisely Saldaña, Mariel Saldaña and Chopra Jonas.
