Shawn Mendes is seemingly starting the new year hand in hand with a new bae. The “Stitches” singer, 27, who is rumoured to be dating Brazilian model and actress Bruna Marquezine, was spotted enjoying a hiking date with the 30-year-old in Los Angeles over the weekend, reports Just Jared.
The pair haven’t tried to hide their apparent new romance since being linked in December. They enjoyed New Year’s celebrations at Alagoas, per Hola! magazine, and were seen out and about in LA, fetching groceries together just last week.

Marquezine hails from Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, where she was born to Neide Maia and Telmo Reis. She started acting at a young age, attending auditions with her mother, per Flaunt magazine. At five years old, she was already doing commercials. It didn’t take her long to transition to TV roles. By age seven, Marquezine was appearing in soap operas. A year later, she made her silver screen debut with Xuxa Abracadabra (2003).
“I know it’s kind of weird to think that a five-year-old would know that she wanted to act, but that’s how I felt at the time. I loved that I had responsibilities and would often be treated as a professional, as an adult,” Marquezine recalled to Elle.
