Our love of Dolly Parton is well-documented. Whether we’re talking about one of the country icon’s new products or a recipe of hers that we can’t stop cooking, if it involves Dolly and food, we know it’s going to be good.
That’s why we were so excited to learn that Parton shared her favorite meal at the drive-thru. While we don’t always find celeb fast food orders the most exciting, it’s fun to learn if we have similar tastes. And if Dolly endorses it, we’re going to eat it (or at least give it a try).
So, to celebrate Dolly’s 80th birthday, we’re heading to…Taco Bell.
Dolly Parton’s Go-To Taco Bell Order

Parton told Business Insider that not only does she love Taco Bell, but she also has a go-to order. If you want to order like Dolly, you’re going to keep things classic. She orders a Soft Taco Supreme with an order of rice and beans. The Soft Taco Supreme is a classic item made with seasoned beef, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and sour cream, all tucked into a soft flour tortilla.
And, because Dolly knows you can’t leave Taco Bell without a few packets of hot sauce, she also shared her hot sauce preference. According to Parton, “I get mild sauce. I don’t like to get it too hot and ruin everything.”
While the Supreme Tacos are always available, Parton has another favorite that disappeared from menus: Mexican Pizza. Made with two crispy tortilla rounds layered with seasoned beef, beans, tomatoes, cheese, and Mexican Pizza Sauce, the item returned to menus in 2022, much to fans’ delight, including Parton herself.
She said, “I was just one of many, many people that had missed them.” Her love for Mexican Pizza is no secret—it’s even immortalized in the truly absurd Mexican Pizza musical that Taco Bell created celebrating the item’s return to the menu.
Now we can add this to the sometimes surprising list of what celebrities usually order at their favorite fast-food restaurant, as well as the list of things that we have in common with Dolly Parton: a love of cooking (especially potatoes) as well as a love for Taco Bell classics.
