Yinka Animashaun, the bride Cole Walliser was rude to, released a statement after going viral saying “as a Black woman I am no stranger to people making assumptions about who I am or what I am capable of”. Joseph Kahn, creator of Glambot in 2016, also mocked Cole Walliser’s response to Yinka.
