Ryan Reynolds Breaks Silence on Blake Lively’s Unsealed Texts | E! News

Ryan Reynolds doesn’t regret getting involved in the ‘It Ends With Us’ drama. One week after his and wife Blake Lively’s private messages were unsealed in her ongoing court case against the movie’s director Justin Baldoni, a rep for the ‘Deadpool’ actor made it clear how Ryan feels about their texts and emails coming to light. “Yes, Ryan got involved—what husband wouldn’t support his wife and the mother of his children?” the spokesperson told Puck News in an article published Jan. 27, per People. “He saw his wife fighting daily to stand up against sexual harassment in a private and respectful way, only to face retaliation for doing so.” In fact, Ryan doubled down on his support for Blake, who he married in 2012. “If anything, Ryan feels like he wasn’t angry enough,” the rep continued. “He passionately believes in and will stand up for the basic right to a safe workplace free of harassment and retaliation for his wife and others. Then, now and always.” E! News has reached out to Ryan’s rep for comment but hasn’t heard back. Justin has previously denied all allegations against him. 1. Legacy media is spinning the fact in favour of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold which is evil and epic level gross. They are caught trying to ruin people's lives. A pair of sickos

    2. The way he "supported" their daughter when he forced/bullied his own child into saying insanely inappropriate things in the Deadpool and Wolverine film? His daughter tried to say no and he manipulated her until she gave in.

    3. Way to double down RR. We all know you were not “protecting” your wife. You tried to destroy a man so your wife could have her own franchise.
Justin was the director, actor and financier of the movie. He worked hard to give the audience (who read the book) what they wanted. You two swooped in and try to change a movie you had no business changing. Ryan your marketing for this movie sucked. And neither you nor your wife can handle a little criticism.

    4. Being awkward isn’t illegal. This whole debacle was created by the epic overreaction of Blake and Ryan, in every way. Blake & Ryan brought on all of the bad press, for them and others, all on their own, and they simply won’t accept it. All of their accusations are confessions & projections.

    5. Could you as one of the oldest entertainment TV channel/content encourage Reynolds to disappear. We have enough sociopaths and narcissists in public. It's sad that you are also part of the problem to help these evil people be so powerful.

    6. This is not sticking up for his wife. Legacy media is spinning the facts of this case in favour of lying Blake Lively and sicko Ryan Reynolds. What is the most gross thing is that Blake Lively was mocking abuse to her so-called BFF Taylor Swift. Disgusting and disgraceful.

    7. What a shame he couldn't have chosen this moment to apologise for getting involved without knowing all of the facts. That's not throwing his wife under the bus, it's just a common sense answer. Looking more into it, he is sticking to his guns because he was the main culprit in this scheme to overthrow an innocent man. Otherwise the natural way to respond (and clever way) would be to say "sorry, I got too involved".
