Margot Robbie might just be the official queen of method dressing. In fact, it’s safe to say that her 2023 Barbie press tour transformed the relationship between red carpets and cinema altogether. Since then, premieres have been a sea of Easter eggs, from Challengers to Wicked. And it seems that Robbie is keen on keeping the trend she started going with Wuthering Heights.

The actress stars as Cathy in Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Emily Brontë’s novel—and so far, the press tour has been filled with knowing winks and nods to the source material. In a new look shared by her stylist Andrew Mukamel on Instagram, Robbie wore a simple, off-white minidress absolutely covered in a sea of fluffy white feathers. She paired the Victoria Beckham dress with nude strappy heels and a romantic curled half-up ‘do.

Mukamel accompanied the look with a quote from the novel: “Tossing about, she increased her feverish bewilderment to madness, and tore the pillow with her teeth…she seemed to find childish diversion in pulling the feathers from the rents she had just made, and ranging them on the sheet according to their different species.”
Fennell’s version of the book promises to lean into the madness and passion of Cathy and Heathcliffe’s doomed love—and this quote kind of sums it up.
Also in the carousel, Robbie wore a similar black look, pairing a black feathered bodysuit with low-rise tailored pants.
Robbie stepped out in another set of Wuthering Heights-coded looks on January 26, wearing a sheer black lace dress with an uneven fluttery skirt, along with a Roberto Cavalli minidress with bell sleeves paired with a gothic choker.
