3 year hiatus? they had a comeback last July.
This video is total BS. 1. Rosé didn't talk about "all things" Blackpink, she maybe mentioned it for 15 minutes. 2. She said very little about what will happen in the coming years, she only mentioned the situation surrounding the contract renewal three years ago, 3. There was never a 3 year hiatus.

While BLACKPINK has not released an album in more than three years, they have certainly not been "on hiatus". In July 2025, BLACKPINK dropped their smash hit single JUMP and began a 7 month, 16 city, 33 show, mega-stadium world tour which concluded in Jan 2026. BLACKPINK's sold-out DEADLINE tour is the highest grossing ever for a girl group, and for a K-pop act. This well-received tour delighted fans with performances of a dozen new songs from their recent solo albums, as well as JUMP and all the beloved BLACKPINK classics. The DEADLINE mini album will drop Feb 2026. At present, no further group activities have been announced.
