It’s looking like Timothée Chalamet’s other half, Kylie Jenner, might make a great partner to run lines with.
The beauty mogul is garnering rave reviews for her cameo in A24’s upcomingThe Moment.
What People Are Saying
In The Moment, a mockumentary about singer Charli XCX navigating the pressures of her first headlining tour, the Brat singer bumps into Jenner in Ibiza.
According to Vulture, the singer, super stressed and reeling from a bad facial, exchanges a few words with Jenner, who plays herself in the film. Jenner then offers some words of advice, but it’s anything but friendly.
Their brief encounter is laced with passive aggression and delivered “naturally,” per the outlet. Jenner even tells Charli, “You look amazing,” before clarifying that she meant Charli looked beautiful “on the inside.” (Their exchange ultimately tips the singer into a full-on crash-out.)
Jenner’s older sister, Kim Kardashian, has been breaking into the acting scene with small roles and cameos over the years, and recently took on a leading role in Ryan Murphy’s legal drama series, All’s Fair. Reviews of Kardashian’s acting abilities haven’t been as positive. (The show has been critically panned and holds a 6% rating on Rotten Tomatoes — though some have called it a guilty pleasure.)
“Kylie Jenner, it turns out,” the writer wrote in the Vulture article, “has legitimate chops as a comic actress. Nobody tell Kim.”
Charli also raved about Kylie’s part in the film. “Kylie, she was just phenomenal,” she told Deadline. “She totally got the assignment. She is a really great actress.”
The film features additional cameos from Julia Fox and Rachel Sennott, and stars Alexander Skarsgård and Rosanna Arquette.
What Timothée Chalamet Said About ‘The Moment’
Chalamet, on his press run to promote Marty Supreme last December, slyly gave the film a shout out in an interview with Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos. The Moment marked Jenner’s film debut.
“A24 is an independent finance company,” Chalamet said. “They got a great movie coming out called The Moment.”
A24 produced and distributed Marty Supreme, along with The Moment.
“Let’s do a double promo, baby!” he joked in the interview.
Chalamet and Jenner have been together for nearly three years after being spotted at Paris Fashion Week together in 2023. They have relatively kept their relationship under wraps, with Jenner supporting the recent Golden Globes award winner on red carpets and premieres from time to time.
The Moment launches in theaters on January 30th.
