Zayn Malik was labeled as “jealous” by a record industry official after seemingly commenting on his former bandmate Harry Styles’ high concert ticket prices.
“[He] is jealous,” a music industry source told Page Six.
“Originally, he tried to charge expensive prices for his tickets and couldn’t, so he had to lower them, and as of last night [they were] as cheap as $20 to get in,” the insider claimed, referring to Malik’s Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.

The source alleged that the “demand” for Malik’s concert tickets was “just not there,” adding, “It’s unfair for him to take a cheap shot at Harry, when he’s doing the same as every other artist.”
“Zayn is just jealous that he can’t get people to pay for him,” the insider continued.
Reps for Malik, 33, and Styles, 31, were not immediately available to Page Six for comment.

The duo were once a part of One Direction alongside Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and the late Liam Payne, who died in 2024.
The group formed in 2010 on the UK’s “The X Factor,” and they officially broke up in 2016, one year after Malik exited the band.
Over the years, Malik and Styles have sparked feud rumors, including when the latter poked fun at the “Love Like This” singer going solo during a Celebrity Family Feud sketch in 2017.
“Why would anyone in a successful band go solo? That is insane!” Styles quipped.
Additionally, Styles pretended to forget Malik’s name during his 2019 “Saturday Night Live” monologue, saying, “I love those guys. They’re my brothers. Niall, Louis, Liam and uh … Ringo! Yeah, that’s it.”

However, feud rumors subsided when Styles and Malik came together for Payne’s funeral in England in November 2024.
Malik, meanwhile, appeared to have playfully commented on Styles’ ticket prices for his forthcoming “Together, Together” tour during his show in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
“I just want to say a big, big thank you to each and every single one of you for being here with me tonight,” he told the audience in a now-viral clip.
“You could have been anywhere, but you decided to spend your night with me,” before jokingly adding, “Hopefully, the ticket prices weren’t too high.”
“Just saying,” Malik said with a smirk.

Prices for the “As It Was” singer’s shows in London range from between $60.80 and $642.76, per the Hollywood Reporter.
The high costs have sparked backlash, with one person writing via X, “Pissed as hell that Harry styles tickets are going for the same amount as 3 of my biweekly paychecks.”
“I’m sorry Harry but this is asinine, I love you but I cannot justify spending an entire paycheck on 2 concert tickets,” another wrote.
