According to royal expertJennie Bond, Prince Harry and Prince William should make amends for the sake of the family. However, it doesn’t mean they’ll be pals. “I doubt that the brothers can ever be truly close again — but as they grow older, perhaps they can at least have some sort of civil relationship,” she wrote for The i Paper.

Even if Prince Harry never speaks to his relatives again, he’ll permanently be connected to The Firm. “Harry is always going to be the son of a king [King Charles III], the brother of another [Prince William], and the uncle of a future monarch [Prince George],” Jennie Bond wrote. “You can take the man out of the royal family, but you can’t take the royal family out of the man.”

As it’s rumored that Prince Harry will extend invitations to multiple members of the royal family for the 2027 Invictus Games, Jennie Bond believes it could be a moment of unity. “With his white flag raised, Harry may be looking for an opportunity to establish a peace treaty,” she wrote. “That could be his Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham next year. King Charles III, Queen Camilla and Prince William were all on parade to support Harry at the inaugural games in 2014.”
