A grim discovery on Friday’s Emmerdale saw police discover two bodies, with their identities now revealed.
Ruby Miligan had contacted the police after believing she’d found a burial site in a field that forms part of Moira Dingle’s land. She’d been left concerned after finding out Anya, the young woman she’d tried to help, had been caught up in the human trafficking scandal at the hands of Ray Walters and Celia Daniels.
When she spoke with Bear Wolf, he made cryptic comments about her being “gone” and him looking for her the day Ruby and her husband Caleb Miligan had found him wandering in the field. He’d mentioned a red ribbon that marked a spot, while he then became confused and backtracked.
Ruby decided to find the ribbon wondering if it might give her answers about what had happened to missing Anya. Initially, her and Caleb found no ribbon but eventually Ruby panicked as she saw it tied to a branch.

Her shock soon turned to horror as she realised the marked spot looked like a burial site. With disturbed ground appearing to cover something, Ruby immediately feared this was where Anya was, and that Anya was dead.
She called the police and told them she thought they’d found a body. They raced to the scene to check the area, with a tent placed over the ground.
As Ruby and Caleb watched on, eventually the horrific site of a body bag being carried towards a van left Ruby’s worst fears confirmed. She was devasted and turned away, sobbing as she realised there had been a body there.
She immediately decided it had to be Anya, which viewers know to be correct. But then Caleb was stunned as a second covered body was taken away.

He alerted Ruby to the fact two people were dead, with two bodies found in the grave. As Ruby wept, the pair questioned who was dead, and how they ended up on Moira’s land.
Spoilers have revealed who the second death is though, and who the second body likely is. Next week, Moira is arrested for murder and questioned about the bodies.
Soon she’s told Celia is dead along with Anya, appearing to confirm that she is the second body in that grave. So it seems Celia’s killer Ray, knowing where Anya was, dug up the grave and placed his mum Celia’s body in there after he murdered her.
Whether he intentionally wanted Moira to be framed remains to be seen. Next week, she’s facing a double murder charge, but can she prove her innocence?
