Prince William showed off his sense of humour as he joked about the “maddest” questions he has been asked during an engagement on Wednesday. The 43-year-old stepped out on a solo visit to Ubele Initiative, a community hub in North London.
The royal spent time in Wood Green to meet black youngsters involved in charities and projects funded by BBC Children in Need’s We Move FWD programme. Before leaving the centre, William was asked about his new home, Forest Lodge, which he and his family moved into in November.
Christina Oredeko appeared to make the prince laugh after sharing that her own family live in Windsor and that they would love to visit his home.
William lives in the eight-bedroom property with Princess Catherine and their three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and seven-year-old Prince Louis.
William told her: “Are you inviting your family to stay? Should we talk diaries and work out timings?”
He also admitted: “It’s not the maddest question I’ve ever been asked!”
William asked Ms Oredeko: “Whereabouts in Windsor do they live?” to which someone else replied: “Do you know B&M?” – which prompted more laughter from onlookers.
Sarah, who has three decades of experience in public service broadcasting, has released a statement via her LinkedIn profile.
Sarah, who previously worked as the Channel 5 President and UK Regional Lead at Paramount, described her feelings for joining the royal couple’s team as being filled with “awe, excitement and a fresh energy”.
