David Beckham is set to earn $400million over 20 years in a huge new deal, the Mirror can reveal. The star has inked a new perfume contract which insiders say is worth $20million a year – totalling £292million.
Insiders say the extraordinary amount of money shows that Brand Beckham is unaffected by the fall-out over his son Brooklyn’s statement. One said: “Brand Beckham is well and truly booming. The fact this is over 20 years shows just how much confidence there is in the brand…and how it will only go from strength to strength.” David has turned over more than $1billion in sales with his fragrance over the last 20 years.
He has entered into an exclusive license agreement with Interparfums, Inc to create new perfumes under his brand. The deal was struck by Authentic Brands Group, the U.S.-based intellectual property giant who manages his name worldwide. David is a shareholder in the company. Insiders say that despite the huge sadness over events of the last week, they have rallied behind one another.
A source said: “They’ve just kept their heads down and it’s been very much business as usual. As well as David’s deal, Cruz’s tour with his band is selling out, Victoria’s single has got to number one, and she’s also enjoying a strong sales month for her fashion and beauty range in what’s traditionally a slow month for the sector. They’ve just kept on doing what they do best.”
Speaking this week about his perfume deal, Becks said: “I’m delighted to announce my partnership with Interparfums to evolve my fragrances for the long-term…together with their world-leading team, we will create products that are distinctive and timeless.” Jean Madar, the Chairman and CEO of Interparfums, has pledged to “strengthen the global presence of Beckham’s existing fragrance lines” and will unveil a “ new signature fragrance by the end of 2029.”

The company hopes to make $50million in the first year alone. The family has kept a dignified silence since their son Brooklyn’s explosive social media post. But they have been buoyed by the supportive comments in the wake of the row which saw son Brooklyn attack them for ruining his wedding. The source added: “It means a lot to them how the public are behind them.”
News of the deal comes as they made their first joint public appearance earlier this week. On Monday, David and Victoria were joined by three of their four children – Romeo, Cruz and Harper – during an appearance at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris.
The appearance came as Victoria received a new accolade by becoming a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters. Posting on her Instagram after receiving her award, she said: “I’m so honoured to be named a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art. So to be recognised here and embraced in this way, is a profound privilege – one that reflects decades of commitment and dedication. My sincere thanks to the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, for this honour.
“Thank you also to business partners who believed in me, my family, and especially David – my husband, and original investor. I couldn’t be more grateful, you are my everything.”
