Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne reconciled after breaking up last year, but sources have claimed that the pair’s marriage dynamics have changed and they now live ‘separate lives’

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne are living separately despite their recent reconciliation, but they are continuing to prioritise their children, a source has claimed.
The EastEnders actress, 33, and the TOWIE star, 34, broke up last year and even sold their home, but later rekindled during a “make-or-break” holiday to Mexico. However, insiders have now claimed that their relationship is once again struggling, as Dan is said to have his own place to live.
It has also been claimed that Jacqueline had been turning a blind eye to Dan’s behaviour – which allegedly included liking other girls’ bikini photos on social media – in an attempt to rebuild their relationship. However, months after a source told us the couple were going all-out to keep the romance alive and stay united this time around, it has been claimed that things are not going well between the couple.

A source told The Sun: “Dan and Jac aren’t living as the average married couple. Their priority has always been the kids, and that will never change. Dan would never want to be apart from them, but knows he and Jac get on better when there’s some distance so they’re living separately as and when it suits.
“Jacqueline wasn’t on board, but she wants to keep her family together. That’s always been the goal. She’s making the best out of the situation and trying to be as flexible as possible. It’s a sacrifice, but she wants to say she’s tried everything. Jacqueline seems to be more accepting of what Dan wants now.”
Meanwhile, a friend told the newspaper that while Jacqueline and Dan “love each other very much”, they have both grown up and changed. Fans first spotted a change in the couple’s online behaviour after they attended the theatre to see Paddington: The Musical with their children. Despite both sharing photos of the day out, the pair did not post or tag one another.
Jacqueline has also been sharing some cryptic quotes online including one which read: “I recently heard someone say: ‘The amount of good things in your life depends on your ability to notice them.'” Despite this, the couple’s representatives insist they are “happier than ever” and deny rumours of a split, according to The Sun.
The publication’s source said the actress is “very private” and if there are any issues, she will try to keep them hidden “until she’s ready to deal with the fallout.” The couple’s eight-year marriage has frequently been dogged by rumours of Dan’’ alleged infidelity, and it seemed there was no going back when they confirmed their separation in March 2025, asking for “respect and privacy”.
They stressed their daughters would “remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care.” Their statement read: “Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart.” Suggestions that all was not well first sprung up when their six-bedroom “forever home” went on the market in summer 2024, despite them overseeing three years of painstaking renovations. It finally sold for £1.6 million last spring, when it was also reported they had both removed their wedding rings.
At the time, rumours were flying that Dan had “secretly” bought a bachelor’s pad behind his wife’s back, and had already moved out of the family home. However, Jacqueline – who plays Lauren Branning in EastEnders – hit back at the speculation, telling her followers the flat was an “investment” She also insisted that she and Dan were “talking constantly, there is no big feud”, before adding: “Stop looking for one.”
A trip to Mexico last year then seemed to set the couple back on the right track. Claims that the pair are living separately have not been officially confirmed by their representatives.
