During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in the US on Friday, Gordon Ramsay gushed over his daughter Holly’s wedding day and the moment “suddenly hit him”

Gordon Ramsay has joked that he cried after learning the price of daughter Holly’s wedding dress when she tied the knot with Olympian Adam Peaty.
After months of public fallout, Adam Peaty married Holly Ramsay in a stunning ceremony surrounded by family and close friends in December 2025.. While his mum and members of his immediate family were shunned from the lavish celebration, the pair tied the knot at Bath Abbey in front of a star-studded guest list.
The only member of Adam’s close clan that seemed to be in support on his special day was his sister, Bethany. Meanwhile his heartbroken mother, Caroline, revealed on the eve of the ceremony that the fallout had felt like ‘they have cut my heart out’. She also expressed: “I don’t think they understand how much they have hurt me”.

Hours before the wedding Gordon was snapped looking as proud as can be on his daughter’s wedding day. He posted a reel of images of the pair on social media, including one of him kissing Holly on the cheek.
His upload was complete with a touching tribute which read: “I’m truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son in law @adam_peaty! I love you so much @hollyramsayy and couldn’t be a prouder Dad xxx”
During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in the US on Friday, Gordon gushed over the nuptials and joked about his size 15 feet making it tough for him to dance with the bride. He laughed: “I was very emotional, I was crying because I realised how expensive the dress was. That is when it suddenly hit me”.

Holly’s gown was inspired by the Alexander McQueen one Kate Middleton wore to her own wedding in 2011.
Gordon added: “We have six kids, three girls, three boys. Her mother Tana is amazing. But seeing your daughter there for the first time when you come down [the stairs of the venue] and you just see this little girl just transform into this amazing lady it just gets you,” reports MailOnline.
It comes after the newlyweds shared another glimpse of their lavish honeymoon on Saturday after arriving in Australia. Holly and Adam soaked up the sun in Queensland after beginning their trip at a luxurious £6,000-a-night resort in Mauritius.
