Claudia Sulewski and Finneas O’Connell announced their engagement in September 2025 after dating for seven years.Sulewski is a YouTuber, actress, director, and founder of the sustainable body care brand, Cyklar.The couple has collaborated on creative projects together, including O’Connell’s “2001” music video.
Professionally, Finneas O’Connell, also known as FINNEAS, is best recognized for his collaborative work with his sister Billie Eilish and for his budding career as a solo artist. As for his personal life, the Grammy-winning musician has been in a long-term relationship with Claudia Sulewski since 2018, and the pair recently hit a major milestone. In September 2025, they announced their engagement.
In an Instagram post, Sulewski shared photos of her and O’Connell with the caption, “forever and ever 9.22.” Words of support from celebrities quickly filled the comments, with Eilish leaving a simple string of pink heart emojis: “💞💞.”
Sulewski later posted a video showing off her diamond ring, writing “we’re getting marrieddd💍.” O’Connell also appeared in the clip.

Sulewski is an actress.
Sulewski began acting in 2014, and has since appeared in projects like The Commute, I Love My Dad, and Apple TV+’s Shrinking.
“Acting is so exciting,” she previously told ELLE. “I get to surrender my control and my power over to all of these other people. That is something that’s still new to me.”
Sulewski is a YouTuber.
Sulewski started posting on YouTube as a teenager, with her first public video dating back to June 22, 2010. Since then, the 29-year-old has grown to 2.45 million subscribers. These days, she posts monthly vlogs. In September 2025, she told the story of O’Connell’s proposal, titling the video “we’re engaged ♥️” The next month, she shared behind-the-scenes footage of where he popped the question and gave more details about their engagement.
“It really started with this love for filmmaking,” she told ELLE of her early YouTube days. “For whatever reason, I took YouTube so seriously. That consistency and drive was what allowed me to turn it into something much bigger. I’m grateful for that little girl.”
She owns a sustainable body care company.
In 2023, Sulewski founded her sustainable body care company, Cyklar, which offers products like exfoliating body spray, perfume oil, and body cream.
“I’ve never built my own brand or put my name on something as, here is 100 percent me,” she told ELLE. “This is my first time doing that. And I’m happy I waited as long as I did, because I knew whatever I ended up making, I wanted it to have a purpose and a reason to exist. I really wanted to create something that had impact and meaning to it.”
Because the line is unisex, she also sought input from a few of the men in her life. “I wanted to make sure it received the co-sign of all my straight, cis friends and my boyfriend,” she said. “Getting to pick the brains of my closest friends and family was a really fun part of this process.”
Sulewski and O’Connell met in 2018.
Sulewski and O’Connell reportedly met on the exclusive dating app Raya in 2018, though she had already heard about him through mutual friends. On a 2023 episode of The Skinny Confidential podcast, Sulewski shared more about their early love story.
“Two and a half years leading up to us meeting on Raya… I have a lot of friends that are in the music industry, and two of my best friends had sessions with him,” she said. “Both times, they were like, ‘I just had a session with this guy. You guys would fall in love, but it’s not worth it because he’s always out of town.’ Then, in 2018, I was at breakfast with one of those friends, and I came across his profile [on Raya], and I was like, ‘Is this the guy?’” From there, Sulewski matched with him, and “everything fell into place so perfectly and so quickly.”
She revealed that the day after they met, O’Connell wrote a song about her called “Claudia.” Listen below:
She’s a music video director.
Sulewski has also directed music videos, including O’Connell’s “2001,” which stars Kate Hudson.
Sulewski shared stills and behind-the-scenes shots from the video on Instagram, writing, “This music video was a DREAM to conceptualize, direct and edit – Thank you to Interscope and my incredibly talented cast + crew for helping bring this idea to life! pinch me pinch me 🚀.”
O’Connell left a sweet comment: “My hero!!! Music video about falling in love with your director, made by the director I’m in love with! It’s meta!!!”
She also directed the video for “David’s Brother” for O’Connell’s band The Favors.

On Sep. 22, 2022, he posted several photos of them and included a few solo shots of her in honor of their 4-year anniversary. He wrote: “You’d have to scour the globe to try to find someone equally as talented, creative and hard working as you are, my love. Then you’d have to do it a second time to try to find someone as kind, thoughtful and generous. A third time to find someone as funny, a fourth to find someone as loving, a fifth to find someone as beautiful. How you manage to be every one of these things all at once, will forever be the impossibility of you. Happy anniversary, Baby, I love the hell out of you.”
On July 30, 2025, she posted a sweet tribute O’Connell for his birthday, writing, “happy 28th baby 🫂 my favorite person on this planet !!! no notes. gimme 14 of em.” He commented on the post, “Love you baby!”
Sulewski and O’Connell often attend industry events together.
Their first public appearance as a couple was on May 16, 2019, at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards.
