Prince Harry showcased his impressive surfing skills at Kelly Slater’s renowned Surf Ranch in Lemoore, central California, under the guidance of professional surfer and celebrity instructor Raimana Van Bastolaer.
The 41-year-old Duke of Sussex was captured on camera tackling an impressive six-foot barrelling wave at the facility, with footage subsequently shared on the Tahitian surfer’s Instagram account.
Mr Van Bastolaer accompanied the clips with the caption “cannot stop you my brother for having a good time”, setting the post to a reggae rendition of Queen’s classic track ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’.
The wave Harry conquered is the centrepiece of Mr Slater’s facility – a pioneering man-made barrel that extends for up to 2,300 feet and remains the sole artificial wave to hold World Surf League accreditation for elite competitions.

The footage reveals Harry dressed in a black wetsuit, crouching atop a white surfboard as he skilfully navigates the powerful wave.
In one segment, a jet ski accompanies the baseball cap-wearing royal across the sunlit waters of the facility.
The video transitions to show the Duke standing upright on his board whilst Mr Van Bastolaer approaches on his knees, reaching out to place a hand on Harry’s lower back to offer gentle guidance.
Further clips capture the prince honing his technique beneath floodlights during an evening session, where he can be seen grinning and giving a thumbs up to someone positioned off-camera.
The Tahitian instructor, celebrated for his big wave exploits in his homeland, has previously shared footage of Harry developing his surfing abilities.
