Yungblud stepped in to help Sharon Osbourne during an awkward moment at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
The widow of the late Ozzy Osbourne turned up to the ceremony, taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, donning an elegant floor-length black gown featuring a dazzling diamond statement collar. She completed her tribute look by sporting her husband’s signature round spectacles.
Whilst striking poses for photographers, Sharon experienced an uncomfortable incident with her aide. Footage captured Sharon clutching something behind her back as she smiled for the cameras, with her assistant attempting to retrieve the items from her.

Sharon could be overheard declaring, “I’ll hold them on my back,” whilst her helper tried to remove them from her grasp. Yungblud then intervened to lighten the mood, grabbing the heels and posing alongside them with Sharon.
Yungblud, born Dominic Harrison, was raised admiring the Black Sabbath legend before eventually becoming his mate. Sharon was moved to tears following his heartfelt tribute to Ozzy during the awards ceremony, reports the Mirror US.
He declared, “To grow up loving an idol who helps you figure out your identity, not only as a musician, but also as a man, is something I’m really grateful for.”
The performer, who had just scooped the Best Rock Performance gong for Changes, continued, “But to then get to know them and honor them at their final show and receive this [his award] is something I am struggling to comprehend, we f—–g love you Ozzy.”
Sharon became tearful watching Yungblud’s performance and declared: “The last time I saw Ozzy Osbourne, he asked me if there was anything he could do for me, and that the ‘music was enough’. God less Ozzy Osbourne and god bless f—–g rock music!”.
Yungblud and Ozzy struck up a friendship following their initial meeting in 2022, with the Black Sabbath icon subsequently taking on a mentoring role. He was also amongst those present during Ozzy’s final performance before his passing.
Ozzy passed away at the age of 76 on July 22, with his wife Sharon and children by his side. His devastating death occurred mere days following his last concert appearance at Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning at his cherished Villa Park, where Yungblud featured on the bill.
