I'm not sure that it made a difference since it didn't seem to have any actual meaning in the story anyway. Her acting made her the best Hermione that anybody could expect, and her looks made her more enjoyable to watch…who wants to watch someone that perhaps can't act, just because that person looks the part? She was a great Hermione. It also seems that it portrays someone that pretty, that they shouldn't be smart.
