He accepted the top honour of the night at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday as his name was read out for Album of the Year.

Taking to the stage, Bad Bunny looked the epitome of suave in his black velvet suit and perfectly manicured beard.

However the Puerto Rican rapper, 31, looks completely different to the 20-something year old who burst onto the scene almost 10 years ago.

Back in 2017 there were no sign of the star’s curly dark locks and he instead sported a buzzcut with various patterns shaved into his scalp.

Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, also had a much rounder face and less chiselled jaw when he first made his debut and wore a mouth grill.

And fans can’t get over his incredible transformation as they took to Twitter after his Grammy win to marvel at his good looks.

Sharing a before and after snap of the star, one fan penned: ‘I desperately need to know wich [sic] God Bad bunny prayed to manifest something like this’.

Another shared a video of Bad Bunny when he was younger wearing bright garish clothing and pink shades as they wrote: ‘crazy looking at bad bunny now cos this was him when I was introduced to him’.

Others added: ‘The way bad bunny got all that surgery and look completely different? Money well spend though. He looks amazing.’;

‘Nah Bad Bunny’s transformation is immaculate. Wow’.

It is unclear if the hitmaker’s changing looks are a result of plastic surgery or weight loss.

In a viral Instagram Reel in October, aesthetic physician Dr. Jennifer Armstrong said that the star looked ‘significantly different’ and suggested that he’d possibly had work done on his jawline, along with a subtle nose job.

‘One hundred percent he’s had a rhinoplasty,’ said Dr. Armstrong, who hasn’t treated Benito before but is known for working with many of the women from Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise.

Analysing before and after photos of the Mia hitmaker, she pointed out that the sloping in his nose had changed and that the tip had been upturned slightly.

Dr. Armstrong also believes that Bunny may have had jawline contouring with fillers, although she did say that his new look could also be down to his weight loss.

Some surgeons online have previously alleged that Bad Bunny had a deep plane facelift — which lifts and repositions deep layers of facial tissue.

However the star is also very into his fitness, recalling how he was even in the middle of a gym session when he got the call for the Super Bowl.

He told Zane Lowe on Apple Music: ‘It’s crazy because I was in the middle of a workout. So I remember that after the call, I just did like 100 pull-ups.

‘I didn’t need more pre-workout shit or whatever. It was very special. It was so special.’

Away from the stage, Bad Bunny is also a talented wrestler, having won the WWE 24/7 Championship in 2021 after making his in-ring wresting debut at WrestleMania 37.

His creative director Janthony Oliveras, previously said of the star’s commitment to the sport: ‘I know it’s always been his dream. He stopped doing everything else. He’s always making music, but he stopped. He stopped doing everything to dedicate himself to this 100 per cent.

He told GQ: ‘He trained twice a day, working on his technique, his body. It was like – since he blew up and started touring – it was the biggest change I’d seen.’

Meanwhile after landing a role in Bullet Train in 2022, the singer threw himself into knife training as part of his stunt work for the film.

Bad Bunny was overcome with emotion on Sunday evening as he took home Best Album for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, which was the first time a Spanish-language album has earned the honour.

The star made a strong statement against the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as he accepted the award during his speech, which was primarily in Spanish.

He sent a powerful message as he said: ‘I want to dedicate this award to all the people that had to leave their homeland, their country, to follow their dreams.’

That was not his only political statement as earlier in the night, the artist’s first words were ‘ICE out’ when he hit the podium to accept Best Música Urbana Album for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.

The NUEVAYoL hitmaker said: ‘Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say, ICE Out.’

He received a massive ovation from the crowd before he continued his speech by saying that immigrants and Puerto Ricans are not savage, animals, or aliens and that they are in fact, Americans.

Bad Bunny continued by saying not to be consumed by hate as he urged others to combat hate with love.

‘The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love.

‘So, please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. Yeah. We don’t hate them, we love our people, we love our family, and that’s the way to do it, with love. Don’t forget that, please. Thank you. Thank you, god! And thank you to The Academy,’ he concluded.
