Nicola Peltz’s dad broke his silence with a blunt online statement as his daughter and son-in-law continue their bitter fallout with the Beckham clan. Billionaire Nelson Peltz, 83, has remained silent as the drama continues to unfold in the public eye following Brooklyn Beckham’s bombshell statement last month.
At the time, the 26-year-old wannabe chef hit his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, with a number of strong allegations. He also said he had no intention of reconciling with the pair.
And now Brooklyn’s father-in-law has launched a strong defence as the family continue to welcome him with open arms. Nelson spoke about the family drama when he did a Q and A session at WSJD’s Invest Live in West Palm Beach event on Tuesday.

He said: ‘My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story and that’s not for coverage here today. But I’ll tell you my daughter is great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.”
He also said that he gives the couple advice at times as they try to navigate the fallout. But he also added: “Sometimes they give me advice.”
Despite the fallout, both sides have attempted to stay quiet following Brooklyn’s statement. Brooklyn had said: “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.
“The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
Despite his harsh words, his siblings have seemingly sided with his parents. Romeo, Cruz and Harper have all been seen supporting their parents at recent outings.
Last week in Paris, the Beckham clan – minus Brooklyn – stepped out together for Fashion Week. Cruz was all smiles as he walked hand-in-hand with girlfriend Jackie Apostel ahead of the occasion. Romeo, meanwhile, was joined by girlfriend Kim Turnbull, who wore an oversized black coat with ripped jeans and sunglasses.
According to reports, Victoria had been ‘in bits’ following her eldest son’s statement. Sources close to the Beckhams previously told The Mirror : “Victoria is on the floor, shocked to pieces that her son would do this.
“Everyone is in shock. But Victoria is totally in pieces over this. But, she is worried, as is David, that this will be the end of Brand Beckham, with the claims of the falseness and pretend relationships; they are worried about what else he is going to come out with.”
They added: “They’re still blaming Nicola, feeling she had put him up to this, and it’s all to do with her; they’re constantly blaming Nicola. But as Brooklyn said, he had to do this.”
