A teaser trailer for a disturbing new horror film starring Charli XCX has been removed from YouTube for violating the platform’s terms of service.
Faces of Death, which is a remake of the controversial 1978 ‘snuff’ classic of the same name, dropped its first teaser trailer last week ahead of its April 10 release date.
However, the teaser was pulled from both YouTube and Facebook within days ‘for violating YouTube’s Terms of Service on violent or graphic content’, according to horror movie website Bloody Disgusting.
The trailer features sickening scenes of people being killed in various ways, including one woman being run over by a train and another person being dragged away by a wild bear.
The original Faces of Death follows a pathologist who presents the viewer with various footage of people dying in gruesome ways.
It is depicted as a real documentary and features some authentic deaths that were caught on tape, but most of the film was staged.

Some of more unsettling scenes from the original film include an African tribe butchering a cow and footage of war atrocities, including the Holocaust.
Faces of Death was banned in the UK, Australia, Germany, and many other countries following its release.
Although it was released theatrically in 1978, the movie became a word-of-mouth sensation in the ’80s as people passed VHS copies around, seemingly unaware that many of the deaths were fake.
The upcoming remake follows a female moderator of a YouTube-like platform, whose job is to weed out offensive and violent content while battling her own traumatic past.
She stumbles across a group that seems to be recreating the murders from the original Faces of Death and then must figure out if these murders are real or simply reenactments.
In addition to Charli XCX, the remake also stars Euphoria’s Barbie Ferreira and Dacre Montgomery from Stranger Things.
After dominating the charts with her blockbuster album Brat, Charli has turned her attention towards the acting world.
Her mockumentary The Moment just hit select theatres, and she will soon be seen in Gregg Araki’s erotic comedy I Want Your Sex.

On the music side, Charli helmed the soundtrack for Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi’s Wuthering Heights.
The 33-year-old recently reflected on her post-Brat success in an interview with Billboard.
‘I’d been this relatively niche artist, and then had suddenly been opened up to this huge new audience, some of whom really connected with me, some of whom only connected with aspects of me, some of whom liked me, but didn’t really get me,’ she explained.
‘How much you’re under scrutiny, in the spotlight, being listened to, watched, is a really interesting thing. It made me so acutely aware of how hard that transition can be.’

It comes as A-lister Jason Bateman was slammed for grilling Charli over her decision not to have children and for his lack of research on his popular podcast.
The Arrested Development star, 57, who has daughters Francesca, 19, and Maple, 13, with wife Amanda Anka, chatted to the Brat songstress, 33, alongside Sean Hayes and Will Arnett on their hit podcast SmartLess.
During the chat, the conversation turned to having children, to which Charli, who married The 1975 star George Daniel last year, said, ‘I actually don’t really want to have kids.’
In an awkward and widely criticised moment, Jason explained that his wife did not want kids when they met, yet he changed her mind, before enthusing, ‘So you might find somebody’, to which Charli informed him of her marriage.
Listeners blasted Jason for breaking the taboo of asking women about having children and failing to research his guest, with a Reddit user writing, ‘Why the f*** does society continue to pressure women, in particular, about having kids?!’
