Hollywood actor Jason Momoa said he was honoured to be part of Black Sabbath’s farewell gig in Birmingham last summer which he called “the greatest hard rock show” and a “moment in time”.

The Aquaman star hosted the gig at Villa Park where frontman Ozzy Osbourne performed five songs in July, in front of 40,000 fans for the final time.

Sabbath were joined by legends Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, the Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.

“It was an honour to even have my name as part of it,” he said. “I just wanted to get tickets bro, and they’re like ‘would you host it?’ What? What?”
