Kate Middleton incorporated daytime elegance into her royal wardrobe with a look by Edeline Lee on Thursday in London alongside Prince William.
The Princess of Wales styled a custom iteration of the Jete Crop dress by the London-based fashion designer. The chocolate brown dress features a tailored round neckline and a fitted, sleeveless bodice, finished with the brand’s signature belt. The skirt of the dress flared out into spacious godet panels for a flowing, feminine look.

Middleton continued the monochrome brown motif of her attire with a Catherine Walker coat and a pair of chocolatey Gianvito Rossi suede pointed-toe pumps. While the dominant color scheme of the Princess of Wales’ attire was mostly brown, she did add pops of color with her accessories.
Middleton added a heart-shaped gold necklace by Danielle Draper to her look, also wearing a pair of Trinity earrings by Cartier. As always, the Princess of Wales incorporated her sapphire and diamond engagement ring, which previously belonged to Prince William’s late mother, Princess Diana.

Edeline Lee launched her eponymous label in 2014. The Canadian-British designer of Korean descent bases the operations of her fashion label in London, following a pattern the Princess of Wales has developed of supporting British brands over the years.
Middleton’s worn pieces by the designer in the past. In 2022, the Princess of Wales, then the Duchess of Cambridge, styled a green belted dress from Edeline Lee for another royal engagement. The dress garnered such attention that Lovethesales.com reported a 113 percent surge in searches for “belted dresses.”

Middleton’s latest public outings have featured a streak of earth tone looks, with several pieces from British brands. For her visit to Wales on Tuesday, Middleton wore pieces by Victoria Beckham and N.Peal London, among other designers and brands.
Thursday’s outing saw the Prince and Princess of Wales meeting with the Archbishop of Canterbury Dame Sarah Mullally for an audience at Lambeth Palace.
