Baltigore: Maryland Horror Anthology showcases historic Baltimore through a series of peculiar tales that each tackle a different horror subgrene in a different time period.
We have your first look at the iconic John Waters, Bill Moseley, and Lloyd Kaufman from the indie film below.
Waters stars as The Broker, a Rod Serling-esque host who guides us through the chapters.
In “A Dead Marriage,” a loveless couple struggles to keep their relationship from rotting away in a disturbing domestic disturbance. Chris Walsh and musician Lauren Ruth Ward star.
In “Mischief Night,” on one particularly strange Halloween, a “cleaner” is hired to help cover up an accidental murder at a local strip joint. Unfortunately, his clients aren’t the smartest ghouls in the graveyard. Robert Kelly (“Louie”), Mike Feeney, Zac Amico, Ryan Shaner, and Kaufman star.
In “1881,” a wounded traveler is relentlessly pursued by a mysterious threat, but how exactly he got there might be the answer to if he gets out alive. Moseley and Bonnie McFarlane (“Last Comic Standing”) star.
A fourth and final segment is currently in pre-production.
Tony Savero writes, directs, and produces via his Save-Room Productions. Cole Krug also produces.
Vincent Van Dyke (Halloween trilogy, Killers of the Flower Moon) headed the film’s practical effects.
“The fact that I not only get to work with some of my favorite comedians and horror heroes on this movie, but also shoot it in my hometown, has been a fever dream come true, to say the least,” Savero tells Bloody Disgusting. “I couldn’t ask for a more supportive, beautifully bizarre city.”
