¡Qué bueno! Bad Bunny said love is stronger than hate during the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. And he really proved it by having two people get married ahead of Lady Gaga’s salsa rendition of “Die With a Smile.” Benito’s reps confirmed in a press release that the happy couple wasn’t just an act for the show. “After inviting Bad Bunny to attend their wedding, the couple was instead invited to be part of the Apple Music Halftime Show,” it read, “where they were married live, with him serving as a witness and signing the marriage certificate, complete with a wedding cake.”

Bad Bunny’s selection as the halftime headliner has been inundated with controversy. Kristi Noem promised ICE would be at the event. Turning Point USA had its own alterna prom that ran slightly before Benito’s celebration got started. Trump called the halftime show “an affront to the Greatness of America” on Truth Social. And right before the big show, Jake Paul tweeted his distaste. “Turn off this halftime,” he wrote. “A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.” How dumb do these people look when the thing they’re tearing their hair out over is, like, a wedding? Bad Bunny even said “God Bless America” right before a parade of flags from the Spanish-speaking world. The NFL had Bad Bunny’s back, echoing his words: “Lo único más poderoso que el odio, es el amor.”
