Donald Trump Reacts To Bad Bunny Halftime Performance
The Grammy-winning star took the stage tonight to deliver a touching, Puerto Rico-inspired performance featuring guests like Cardi B, Ricky Martin, and Lady Gaga. He performed a medley of hits like “DtMF” and “VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR” before ending his set with a heartfelt message of love and unity, despite the unfair hatred he faced in the lead-up to his performance.
Unsurprisingly, Trump still took issue with it, taking to Truth Social to blast Bad Bunny for what he called a “disgusting” performance.
Trump wrote, “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.”
He went on to criticize certain aspects of the performance, including the dancing. “Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting,” he wrote, “especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.”
“This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country,” Trump added, “which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History! There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD.”
He concluded the post by saying, “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” and signing off, “President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
