A royal family cook will have her story told by her granddaughter at an upcoming history group talk.
Jane Evans’ grandmother cooked for King Edward VII, while her great uncle was at the Delhi Durbar in 1911, and her mother received a coronation medal in 1953.
The talk, titled My Family and the Royal Family, is scheduled for Monday, March 16, at the Fromus Centre in Saxmundham.
The event begins at 2.30pm and is open to the public, with a fee of £5 for visitors, which includes tea or coffee and biscuits.

Ms Evans is changing the previously advertised event Members’ Brick Walls to share her family’s history with the royal family.
No advance booking is required, and there is free parking.
Members of the Alde Valley Suffolk Family History Group can also access the talk on Zoom.
The Saxmundham-based group, which organises monthly talks on family history and genealogy, has previously hosted a session from a retired professional genealogist who shared tips on researching family history using wills and probate records.
