This reminds me of when I was younger and I was going somewhere with my dad and siblings. They’d all gotten in the car. I was last. When I got in, my dad was mad about something, he was kind of lecturing my siblings about something, maybe fighting over the front seat idk.
So I get in and he doesn’t stop, he keeps going, and he’s like, “You’re all far too old for this and Jade, you left the door open!” I’m sitting there silently wondering wtf that means and I see him look at me in the rear view, “Jade. You need to close the door.”
So I’m like, “…. Is this… A metaphor?” And he groaned, “WHAT? No! The car door isn’t closed properly, close the door, it isn’t closed! ARE YOU HIGH??” 😂😂
