i heard absue happens 20% of the time usually. the other 80% are "tolerable" or even enjoyable. Thats why victims stay with abusers. Because its not always bad. It would be very easy to recognize if the absuse was constant.
I've seen my mom get her ass beat multiple times and each time it happened she got the hell out of there. I wish women would be more strong and have the courage to stand up to their abusers

Why is it never the man that's abused on shows like this since 50% – 70% of abuse victims are men. It disgusts me that TV shows always put propaganda like this in them that basically try to make everyone believe women are always the victim & men always the attackers when the opposite is true most of the time in domestic violence cases.
I married and moved to Canada. I was not aware that he was a binge drinker and violent. I wrnt to the pokice to report it and was told by the staff sgt to duck. I knew then I needed to save money to get out. I had no job. It was sneaking money from the groceries. 10c here and there. He died at 47. I'm glad situations are understood now and partner abuse has consequences. Stay safe and speak up.
she is stupid for loving an abuser lol. not to say it's not life-threatening to leave but once someone's hand hits you in anger, loving them is nonsensical.
