Swedish pop star Zara Larsson is the latest celebrity to sing praises of Bad Bunny’s halftime show during the Super Bowl. She said that it was the most powerful performance she had ever witnessed and that it brought her to tears. She said this in a TikTok video she recorded after the game at Levi’s Stadium on February 9, 2026.

“Guys, I’ve watched the Super Bowl performance five times now, and I’m going to watch it for the sixth. And every time I do, it makes me cry.”

Although she is not of Latin descent, Larsson said she felt an unexpected sense of cultural connection during the halftime show featuring Bad Bunny.

“It also makes me feel like me and the Latino… like, I am Puerto Rican,” she said with a laugh as she tried to compose her thoughts. “To me, a Latina, like, the best Super Bowl performance. Sorry.”

The Super Bowl halftime show featuring Bad Bunny was a historic moment because it was the first time a Latino artist headlined the event. His set featured reggaeton, Latin pop, and Caribbean music, celebrating Puerto Rican culture. His set was even more impressive because it featured surprise performances by Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga.
