Scary Movie 6 is planning a big Terrifier parody. Amazon’s God of War show has found its Atreus. Stephen Spielberg teases Disclosure Day. Plus, the trial begins in new footage from Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Spoilers now!

Scary Movie 6
During their recent appearance at Spooky Empire in Florida (via Facebook), Dave Sheridan and Kane Hodder revealed that Felissa Rose will appear in Scary Movie 6. According to Dread Central, Rose’s scene will be “a sequence parodying Terrifier 3, specifically skewering the mall scene in which Art the Clown blows up a group of children. The sequence was initially cut from the film but has since been reinstated in a trimmed-down edit. Rose is drenched in blood during the scene that also features an appearance by Terrifier producer Michael Leavy.”
Blood Rush
Deadline reports that Danielle Bisutti, Billy Zane, Henry Ian Cusick, William McNamara, Christina Moore, Colin Cunningham, Ken Davitian, and Robert Craighead will star in Blood Rush, a vampire-western directed by Stefan Colson and Bisutti, herself. “Set in 1881 during the American Western Frontier gold rush,” the story follows “Lucifer’s children, Lilith and Aamon, the original vampires who fly to the Americas to suck the living hope out of the common folk’s blood that’s been revived by the promise of the American Dream. But plans to restore their Vampiric reign are thwarted when an old familiar shows up, threatening to reveal their true nature if only his complicated feelings for the vamps don’t bloody the waters.”
A Body in the Woods
Deadline also reports Emma Roberts will star in A Body in the Woods as Alice Lincoln, “a woman at the turn of the century living deep in the Marshall Woods, a place long-plagued by legends of a menacing witch. When Alice is left alone at her remote cabin to keep vigil over the body of an unidentified mine worker, unsettling disturbances in the dark lead Alice to fear the corpse may not be fully at rest. The appearance of a silent woman at the edge of the forest road traps Alice in a waking nightmare between the growing evil within and the nameless terror waiting beyond her door.” Stephen Cognetti is attached to direct.
Ascendant
Deadline additionally has word Richard Brake and KateLynn E. Newberry will star in Ascendant, a horror film from Phil Blattenberger in which Brake plays “a charismatic madman who leads a doomsday cult with demonstrations of his claimed mystic powers ranging from seemingly telekinetically lighting candles to setting human sacrifices on fire. Newberry co-stars as a woman who infiltrates the cult in search of her missing sister.”
