‘KPop Demon Hunters’: Will EJAE Perform ‘Golden’ At The Oscars?
“KPop Demon Hunters” is taking award season by storm! The songwriters of the film’s hit song, “Golden,” EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick and Joong Gyu Kwak, chatted with Access Hollywood at the 2026 Oscars Luncheon and revealed the moment they knew their song was a massive success. They also broke down how they collaborated on the track, explaining the movie’s directors had a big input when it came to the rhythm of the song and even asked them to include a “superhuman high note.” Plus, EJAE revealed if she will perform the song live at the 2026 Academy Awards and told Access who she’s gotten starstruck by throughout this award season.

whos the asian guy? did they really add another Korean just for show? lol come on SKorea. You don't normally have a producer in the spot light. The singer/songwriter should have the spotlight. I'm not even sure Mark should really be in here tbh. I mean seriously, like what if she won something like, Best Vocal.. are they gonna be standing next to her giving speeches lmao. I just feel like it's her spotlight alone because she's the one that sang it and wrote/cowrote it. You don't see Taylor Swift with her producer or co-writer
