Why Zayn Malik Thinks He Was NEVER ‘In Love’ w/ Gigi Hadid
Zayn Malik is getting candid. The singer joined Alex Cooper for the Feb. 11 episode of “Call Her Daddy,” in which he confirmed his previous interview comments that he’s never been in love. “Yeah. Because my understanding of love is always developing, you know. At that moment in time — I might have thought it was love, but as I’ve got older, I’ve realized maybe it wasn’t. Maybe it was lust. Maybe it was this, maybe it was that — I don’t feel like it was love,” he began. The former One Direction star then clarified what his feelings are for Gigi Hadid, his ex-girlfriend whom he dated on-and-off for six years and the mother of his daughter, Khai. “And to be fair, like, just to say this on record, I will always love G because she’s the reason my child is on this earth. And I have the utmost respect for her. I will always love her, but don’t know if I was ever in love with her.” He went on to explain why he thinks he wasn’t in love with Hadid, saying, “Otherwise I would have been a better version of myself.”

People attacked him in the comment section in other videos of this interview but I respect him for being real about his feelings. Men move on super fast after break ups and don't give themselves enough time to heal. The second he and Perrie Edwards from the girlgroup 'little mix' called off their wedding/engagement and chose to split up, he was already liking pictures of Selena Gomez and Kylie Jenner.😅 It's not entirely surprising that it was lust in the beginning, what he had for Gigi. Dating someone outside of your home-country can be interesting.
