Teyana Taylor has ditched her signature curly pixie for a new look.

At a February 11 screening of One Battle After Another, the actress rocked a flippy lob.

Taylor has been wearing her hair short since this time last year.

Teyana Taylor has a new ‘do—and it’s so different from her signature look. After almost a year of consistently rocking a chic curly pixie, the One Battle After Another actress has switched things up by adding a little length to her locks. Attending a screening of the Oscar-nominated film on February 11 in Los Angeles, Taylor debuted a shoulder-grazing lob. She wore her hair in a playful zig-zagging center part and rocked the blunt cut with sharp, flipped ends.

Along with her new long hair, Taylor wore a custom army green bomber jacket. The jacket featured embroidered words and phrases from the film: “The French 75,” in reference to the name of the film’s revolutionary group, “I need the rendezvous point,” nodding to Leonardo DiCaprio’s repeated plea in the film, and “Ocean Waves,” the name of a Johnny Greenwood song that features in the movie’s score. The film’s initials, “O.B.A.A.,” were printed on the chest in orange, while the full title was printed on the back.

Taylor also rocked some bold pieces of gold statement jewelry, pairing two chunky gold cuffs, sculpted to look like human faces, with a gold necklace fashioned into a pair of lips.

This isn’t the first time Taylor has made a sartorial statement: just take her sheer black lace dress paired with platforms and a literal tiara, or her plunging sequin shirtdress with bold hip-high slits.

As the actress explained to us at InStyle last August while gracing our digital cover, “I’ve always been a fashion girl. I always just knew how to put that shit on.” She added, “I like dope things, but I also realize that I influence a lot of people, and I want it to be of substance.”
