Danniella Westbrook hit the pool as she recuperates following her latest round of surgery. The EastEnders star, 52, has had several operations to rebuild her face following years of drug abuse.
The former soap star went under the knife in Dubai – opting for a full face, neck and brow lift in addition to a lip and nose reconstruction. The gruelling procedures come just months after an operation to repair her nose last June after her cocaine addiction destroyed her septum.
In an Instagram post shared last month, Daniella heaped praise on her surgeon, sharing: “A massive amount of love and respect to my Amazing surgeon @parvizsadigh for all his hard work. Every day I grow and glow. Thank you and roll on Feb for the next operation.”

In new photos, Danniella can be seen struggling as she tries to lounge on the sunbeds at her hotel. Dressed in a baby pink halterneck bikini, the EastEnders actress took a brief dip in the pool to try and cool off.
Still wearing the bandages wrapped around her head, Danniella had a splash before climbing out to relax on her lounger. The Sam Mitchell actress was still sporting puffy and bruised eyes and swelling around her cheeks following her latest work.
Danniella told the Mirror she nearly died following one botched operation. Explaining how she had suffered a severe bout of osteoporosis, which is a health condition that weakens bones, in 2015 Danniella was left with screws for teeth as her cheekbones “wasted away”.

In 2018, she told us: “They need to take a piece of bone out of my skull and put a plate into my face but they’ve got nothing to stick the plate on at the minute because the bone’s not strong enough.
“The bone hadn’t closed around the screws so they took me out of the house three times to a dentist, which they’re not meant to, because the pain was so bad.”
Later, Danniella said she had her eroded septum and columella replaced in what was just the start of her surgery journey. She also explained how she had had her cheekbone

“I hate the way I look. I’m constantly made fun of, and trolled for it. People message me, saying: ‘You’re so ugly, you’re a junkie, you should just go and kill yourself,'” she said, “I’ve also had messages saying they are glad I’m not coming back to EastEnders because no one wants me scaring their kids on the telly.”
In 2025, Danniella decided to undergo surgery again – this time on her face. Claiming doctors were happy with her progress, she wrote: “Today, I got the amazing news that I’m officially clear to move on to stage 2 of my recovery. Despite a rough patch with an infection (which was a known risk), my doctors are happy with how everything’s going – and that means everything to me.”
