Nell Verlaque (Thanksgiving) and Jason Isaacs (“The White Lotus”) are set to star in the vampire movie Crave, Deadline reports.
In the film, haunted by her past, a grieving girl is drawn to a mysterious traveling carnival that arrives in her small town. Caught in its alluring spell, she falls deeper into a web of illusions — only to discover an underground world that feeds on despair and demands a costly price for escape.
David Charbonier & Justin Powell (The Boy Behind the Door) direct from a script by Jason Filardi (17 Again, “Chapelwaite”) and Peter Filardi (The Craft, Flatliners).
Paulina Chávez (“Landman”), Kieron Moore (“Vampire Academy”), Eoin Macken (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), Alicia Sanz (“From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series”), Cedrick Cooper (“Boots”), Corrado Martini, Alvise Rigo, and Elisabeth Sanjuán round out the cast.
Roger Corbi, Dominic Rustam, and Christian Mercuri are producing, with Jason Filardi, Peter Filardi, and Roman Viaris serving as executive producers.
Spanish outfit Asphyxia AIE produces with the participation of FishCorb, Westbury Road Productions, and Capstone Studios.
Crave recently wrapped production in Spain and is launching at this week’s European Film Market in Berlin with Capstone.
