The Toy Story 5 international poster features Woody, Buzz, and their friends with Lilypad, their new computer tablet rival.

The characters are all gathered in Bonnie’s backpack with the film’s logo on a front pocket. Characters include Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Lilypad, Bullseye, Mr. Potato Head, Forky and his bride, Slinky Dog, Rex, Smarty Pants, a hippo, and a camera.
Smarty Pants is a new character — a toilet training toy voiced by Conan O’Brien. The hippo and camera also appear to be new characters.
The official film description states, “Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they’re introduced to what kids are obsessed with today….electronics!”
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are returning as Woody and Buzz, respectively. Joan Cusack returns as Jessie. Lilypad is voiced by Greta Lee.
Ernie Hudson is taking over as Combat Carl from the late Carl Weathers. Blake Clark is expected to return as Slinky Dog, a role he took over from Jim Varney, who passed away in 2000.
It has not been announced who, if anyone, will replace Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head. After Rickles passed away in 2017, archived recordings of his voice were used in Toy Story 4.
Tony Hale is expected to return as Forky, introduced in Toy Story 4. Craig Robinson and Anna Faris also join the film as new characters.
Toy Story 5 is written and directed by Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris, and produced by Lindsey Collins.
Toy Story 5 will be in theaters on June 19, 2026. Watch the first teaser trailer below.
