Sarah Ferguson’s new life following her recent fall from grace looks way different from the one she was accustomed to. The former Duchess of York has found herself with no title, home or job even since disturbing details about her relationship with convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, emerged. She was recently dragged further into the Epstein row after the US Department of Justice released millions more documents relating to his case.
Many of these documents featured Fergie, as she is otherwise known, and saw her sending many embarrassing emails to Epstein about her finances, her children and overall life. Being mentioned in the Epstein files does not suggest any wrongdoing. But reports suggested that, despite her ex-husband, “misery guts” Andrew Mountbatten–Windsor finding refuge in one of the King’s private homes in the Sandringham estate, Ms Sarah’s whereabouts and future move are more difficult to pinpoint.
The former duchess, who has not been seen publicly since last December, reportedly headed to the Alps before moving to the United Arab Emirates to think about her comeback and her finances, with sources claiming that she’s adamant about keeping her “distance” from Andrew. However, royal author Robert Jobson dismissed the claims, saying on his X account that the “UAE angle may not be the one to follow”. It is still not clear where the former Duchess has been residing since the bombshell Epstein files were released. Sources told the Daily Mail that she has been telling friends: “I need to get back to work. I need money”.
