Scream 7: Timothy Olyphant on Potential Ghostface RETURN! (Exclusive)
Timothy Olyphant chats with ET’s Denny Directo about his new series, ‘Lucky,’ premiering July 15 on Apple TV. The Ghostface vet also reacts to a potential return in ‘Scream 7.’
My favorite Ghostface! He had the best mask off moment the whole franchise, was already a serial killer before Scream 2, and didn't even end up caring about Sidney, literally just in it for the love of the game! Dude was one sick puppy
He’s involved. There are heavy and deliberate references to Scream 2 in Scream 7, especially ones pointing toward Mickey. In the interview, he said, “So, you never know.” If he had no connection to the film, he would have said that clearly. Why give fans false hope for no reason? I know he’s involved.
When you watch the scene where Mickey gets shot frame by frame, you see that the number of bullets that actually hit him is quite limited. The claim that he was “shot 20 times” is just a rumor passed from person to person. Panic firing ≠ fatal impact. That’s how cinematic language works. Only two bullets hit him, and those two bullets hit his left and right shoulder. Not a vital area, everyone knows that. And because Mickey throws himself backward, the other bullets don’t hit him, they scatter to the sides. Mickey had already survived being shot twice in the chest, don’t forget that. I analyzed every fine detail of the scene. Also, at the end of the scene, we see an ambulance. In Scream 7, there are heavy and deliberate references to Scream 2, especially those pointing toward Mickey. Honestly, I truly hope Mickey is involved.
Many people are saying that Timothy was secretly included in the film without being announced, and there are really strong arguments about it. Mine are included as well. I hope we can see Mickey again.
In Scream 7, Ghostface’s voice resembles Mickey. Mickey’s lines are being repeated, and the scenes are very similar. I hope we get to see Mickey again in Scream 7.
OMG I watched the interview. There was so much hidden in Tim’s smile and the way he said “You never know.” If he had no connection to the film, he would have said that clearly. Why spark curiosity for no reason? I know jokes like that are risky. The fans were already hopeful, and now I’m hopeful too! I really hope we get to see him in Scream 7 somehow

Useless interview…
“Billy era un enfermo que creyó que podía escapar: ¡Mickey es un enfermo que no quiere hacerlo, nena!” 😈
He played crazy so good. Still so handsome
He might do voice over for the ai deepfaking ghostface uses to pretend to be other drad characters returning
My best Ghostface ever in the scream series! He was so epic in scream 2! I hope he well come back in scream 7!
Mickey was a great ghost face. He should get a resurrection. He wasn't shot in the head so he could come back.

I've loved Timothy ever since "Justified", he's so cute too.
Timothy aged really well, his face still have some maneurisms from Mickey Altieri.

I know he’s somehow involved in this in Scream 7
My only dream for Scream 7 is to see Stu and Mickey as a duo.

I really hope Mickey is involved in Scream 7 somehow..I’d even be happy with just a mention Stu and Mickey absolutely BURN IT ALL DOWN!
Alright. Now I’m sure. I knew Mickey was involved too, secretly added to the film.
Timothy is likeable, but if I think correctly about what this story is, I think, he will fit perfectly. ☺️
Also, nicely dodged 2nd question. 😉
I hope we can see Goatieri again My only consolation is that he was secretly included in the film
he didn't say anything lol
I hope he was included in Scream 7 before any announcements. That’s my only hope.
This Timothy guy seems like a nice guy, the type you’d bring home to mom… If you had a mom
