Elmo CLARIFIES Calling Out Taylor Swift For ‘Opalite’ Rock
Elmo is setting the record straight on his recent comments about Taylor Swift! After the “Sesame Street” star publicly called out Taylor on X for including a pet rock in her “Opalite” music video, he is clarifying his comments while chatting with Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans in Milan, Italy. “Elmo loves Ms. Taylor Swift. Elmo loves Ms. Taylor Swift. You know Elmo is always in his red period,” he joked. “But, did it have to be a song about a rock? Listen, take it from Elmo Ms. Taylor, a rock is just a rock!” he added. Elmo, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch also revealed what sports they’re excited to cheer on at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics and showed off their Italian. The Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics are airing on NBC and Peacock through Feb. 22. “Sesame Street” airs on PBS and Netflix.
