What If School Was Designed for Obedience… Not Leadership? 👇

What If School Was Designed for Obedience… Not Leadership? 👇

For generations, the traditional system has followed the same formula:

    Sit down.
    Stay quiet.
    Memorize.
    Repeat.

    The structure rewards compliance.
    Follow instructions.
    Meet standardized benchmarks.
    Don’t disrupt the pattern.

That model works well for producing employees.
But does it naturally produce entrepreneurs?
    Critical thinkers?
    Independent leaders?

More parents are starting to ask that question.

Homeschooling isn’t just about staying home.
    It’s about customization.

    Teaching at your child’s pace.
    Building around their strengths.
Focusing on real-world skills — communication, problem-solving, financial literacy, adaptability.

It’s not that public school is “bad.”
    It works for many families.

But the deeper issue is intentionality.

Are we choosing a path because it’s familiar…
or because it truly aligns with the future we want to build?

    The system shapes mindset.
    Mindset shapes opportunity.

And the most dangerous move isn’t picking the wrong model —
it’s never questioning the default one.

    1. This is the problem tho homeschooled kids are very smart until around high school and that’s when I’ve notice homeschooling fall apart especially in math and science especially math because most parents can’t do pre calculus

    2. homeschooling is a good thing that should have regulations to ensure kids are hitting benchmarks for their age. almost the entire homeschooling movement is wholly against any and all of the regulations put in place to protect kids and also china is awesome the average homeowner age isnt 75 or whatever it is in the land of the free.

    3. There are tons of ways to socialize homeschooled kids. Homeschooling isn’t for everyone. Not for every parent not for every kiddo . But it’s truly superior to keep a kid’s passion for learning intact.

    4. homeschooling is not a great thing cus ALOT of parents will put THEIR views on to their children so if the parent is racist and is also a neo nazi its not gonna be a great ending for that kid

    5. Unfortunately, a lot of parents who prefer homeschooling tend to be right wing nutjobs instead of someone as sagacious as this man protagonist.

    6. I think both sides of this argument are correct but much like any other political issue theyre either too far one way (social over study) or the other (study over social) without realizing the answer is staring both in the face of a total tear down and rework of the American education system to teach children and teens what really matter and skills they rally need while also maintaining good social recreation for all around healthy growth. However in order to achieve this rework opens an entire new can of political worms so until someone gets into a position of power who isnt selfish, knows what they are doing, not a convicted felon, and actually has the gonads to stand up to people who prefer to keep it the way it is, things will never change

    7. I bring it down to lived experiences. I only finished grade 10 but I didn’t know a hell of a lot more than I ever landed in school just from being at home and doing my own research.

And another thing schools have a curriculum that they have to follow certain things that they are allowed to teach you when you’re at home you can learn whatever the fuck you wanna learn and nine times out of 10. You become way smarter than anyone who goes to school.
