For once, the performers at the Box weren’t putting up with crap.
The famous sexual burlesque acts at the Lower East Side club — which can skew toward the scatological — refused to go onstage on Friday night because accused rapist and human trafficker Andrew Tate was in the audience, says a source.

As Page Six previously reported, the manosphere celeb showed up with his brother Tristan Tate to a Fashion Week bash at the club held by promoters Matteo Garzia and Alessandro Brioschi.
Now we hear that when the staff — who put on the venue’s infamous sexually supercharged show known for its simulated stunts involving (we dearly hope) fake pee and poop — heard about the guests, the s - - t hit the fan.
“Staff members and performers were shocked that a guardian of the Box’s notoriously tough-to-get-into velvet rope would allow in such a repulsive figure,” said an insider.

They added, “A Box night has two big shows then a smaller late-night act. It was the second show of the night that did not happen once performers and staff realized Tate was there.”
A lawyer for Tate told Page Six that these claims were “entirely false.”
As we always say: When the poop act thinks you’re distasteful, it may be time to reflect on your life choices.
The party wasn’t seemingly attached to a particular fashion show or designer, but we hear it was more of a general celebration of the week-long happening in the city.

Both Tates are facing criminal charges of rape and trafficking in the UK. They were accused of trafficking more than 30 women into their porn operation in Romania. They’ve been under investigation in the US by Homeland Security and federal prosecutors since 2023 and Florida opened a criminal investigation into them last year, but no criminal charges have been brought in the US. They have denied all charges in the UK and Romania.
Andrew and Tristan were part of a crew that requested the banned Kanye West song “Heil Hitler” at a club in Miami. Their lawyer said did not sing and condemn the glorification of Hitler. @Rebootjayx/X
The pair were also with a group including white supremacist Nick Fuentes in a Miami club last month that had the DJ play Kanye West’s banned song “Heil Hitler.” (The Tates’ attorney told TMZ at the time that they didn’t sing along to the song and condemn the glorification of Hitler.)
